Welcome to The Canine Studio. We are committed to providing a safe, caring and professional grooming service for every dog that visits our salon. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Appointments

Appointments can be made by telephone, email, or via WhatsApp or text.
Please arrive on time. Late arrival may result in a shortened appointment or the need to reschedule.

Your dog’s health

Please advise us of any medical conditions, allergies, recent surgery, behavioural concerns or history of aggression before your appointment.
Dogs showing signs of illness may need to have their appointment postponed.

Fleas & parasites

Dogs should be free from fleas and parasites before attending the salon.
Additional cleaning charges may apply if fleas are discovered during grooming.

Matted coats

Regular brushing is essential.
Severely matted coats may need to be clipped short for your dog’s welfare and additional charges may apply.

Behaviour

If a dog becomes excessively distressed or aggressive, we reserve the right to stop the groom for welfare and safety reasons.

Pricing

Website prices are guide prices. Final charges may vary depending on size, coat condition, temperament and time required.

Payment

Payment is due on collection unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
Repeated no-shows may require a booking deposit.

Veterinary emergencies

If urgent veterinary treatment appears necessary, we will make every effort to contact you before seeking appropriate assistance.

Photography

Photographs may be taken for our website or social media only with the owner’s permission.

CCTV

CCTV operates within The Canine Studio for safety, welfare and security purposes in accordance with our Privacy & CCTV Policy. The Canine Studio is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the matter fairly.

Liability

Whilst every reasonable care is taken, The Canine Studio cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing medical or skin conditions that become apparent during grooming.
