Five gentle habits between grooms

Small routines at home that keep coats comfortable and make studio visits easier.

A full groom every few weeks is wonderful. The days in between matter too — especially for longer coats and dogs who hate mats.

Try these at home

  1. Brush little and often, not one heroic session
  2. Check ears and paws after muddy walks
  3. Keep a soft towel for damp coats
  4. Trim nails only if you are confident — or leave them to us
  5. Book before the coat becomes a problem

If you hit a tangle you cannot ease through, stop and message us. Pulling through a mat usually hurts more than a careful tidy in the studio.
