Hand stripping vs clipping — which suits your dog?

Wire coats and many terrier-type coats often look and feel their best when the dead coat is pulled by hand rather than cut away with clippers.
Hand stripping
Hand stripping removes the soft undercoat and keeps the wiry topcoat. Colour stays richer, texture stays harsh, and the coat can weather as it should.
Clipping
Clipping is kinder for some dogs, some lifestyles, and some coats that have already been clipped for years. Soft, low-stress grooming still comes first.
